Kate Middleton Has a Surprising Connection to Meghan Markle's New Clothing Line

Meghan Markle is back in action!

Introducing the new Smart Works collection, #TheSmartSet Over the previous year, The Duchess of Sussex and @SmartWorksCharity have come together to launch a very special initiative. She donned two items from the collection - a white button-down shirt designed by Nonoo and tapered black trousers from Jigsaw. The collection is five pieces: a blazer, slacks, résumé-friendly tote bag, work dress and crisp white collared shirt, each designed with different brand partners and meant to help women create a fail-safe working wardrobe.

More than two decades after her death, royal fans can still remember how much they loved Princess Diana and the lasting legacy that she left on the world.

She teamed her shirt and pants with a pair of killer heels and some attractive butterfly earrings that once belonged to her late mother-in-law, Diana, Princess of Wales.

The collection she launched is very on brand for the former "Suits" star, as it's all about giving back.

On Thursday, Markle revealed the first capsule collection, which will be available to purchase online for two weeks. She was all smiles whereas greeting work buddies and supporters.

Speaking ahead of the event, Meghan said: "Since moving to the United Kingdom, it has been deeply important to me to meet with communities and organizations on the ground doing meaningful work and to try to do whatever I can to help them amplify their impact".

"It was simply final September that we launched the "Collectively" cookbook with the ladies of the Hubb Kitchen in Grenfell".

"The way that we do that as a woman is we go into our closet and say, 'I'm going to make a donation, '" she explained. "She wasn't precious", Robinson told Evening Standard in 2008.

She said when she began thinking about helping Smart Works create its collection, the first person she thought about was her friend Ms Nonoo, a designer known for her own capsule wardrobe offerings. Check out the interview below! As a result, launching this autumn, The Duchess will be supporting a collective to help equip the women of Smart Works with the key workwear essentials they need as they enter into the workplace.

For every piece sold from Meghan's collection, the same item will be donated to Smart Works, which helps unemployed women dress for interviews.

The trip, which Meghan undertook with her and her husband Prince Harry's son Archie was, according to sources, spur of the moment, with an insider confirming to The Times it was a "last-minute trip" and Meghan was "excited to support her friend, and then come back". The entire collaboration features a shirt, pants, bag, dress and blazer-basically the ideal minimalist workwear wardrobe.
