Woman Pretends to Be Model at Chanel Fashion Show

Gigi Hadid saved the day at the Chanel fashion show! As security were too late to intervene, Gigi - in velvet hot trousers - rushed after the blogger, and prevented her from getting to the main stage area.

The imposter, identified by WWD as the French comedian and YouTuber Marie Benoliel, better known as Marie S'Infiltre, then passed by where Hadid was.

"I couldn't stop laughing because the hapless security guards couldn't spot her in the line-up", said New York Times fashion writer Elizabeth Paton, who had been on the front row. But Hadid moved swiftly, blocking her before she ever had a chance to join the lineup and placing her hand firmly on the woman's shoulder.

Marie - who describes herself as a comedian and YouTube personality - crawled onto the stage and positioned herself in the middle of the models, including the likes of Kaia Gerber, as they flaunted the fashion house's spring 2020 collection. This isn't her first rodeo when it comes to pranking the fashion world, as she had already made an attempt to crash the Etam fashion show earlier this week.

"Marie S'Infiltre strikes again!" she declared on Instagram after being shown the door.

This simply has to be one of the most insane things that has happened during a fashion week event.

It spooked Cardi B: "I loved the show". She glanced out to the audience as if to make sure someone was filming.

Like several Paris shows over the last nine days Chanel's clothes marked a strong return to femininity after several seasons when androgyny ruled the catwalks. Information, it was additionally the primary present beneath the luxurious model's new inventive director Virginie Viard, who took over following the dying of Karl Lagerfield in February.
