Zoe Kravitz Will Play Catwoman in Robert Pattinson's 'Batman'

Zoë Kravitz, 30, is suiting up as the next Catwoman in Matt Reeves' The Batman movie, our sister website Variety reported on October 14! An interesting note is that she has already voiced Catwoman in Warner Bros.' The Lego Batman Movie.

"The Batman" will be directed by Matt Reeves, who was behind the last two "Planet of the Apes" sequels.

Zoë Kravitz is stepping into the iconic shoes of Selina Kyle (aka Catwoman) for Matt Reeves' upcoming The Batman film, E! It would be fun to see Catwoman, the Riddler (the rumored role for Hill), and others running amok as Batman is just getting his wings under him. Jeffrey Wright and Jonah Hill are also reportedly in talks to join the cast as Commissioner Gordon and a now unnamed villain, respectively. Affleck departed his role as Batman following Justice League, allowing Reeves to pick his own Bruce Wayne.

The Batman is scheduled to hit theatres June 25, 2021. She recently appeared in the second season of Big Little Lies on HBO. It was said Kravitz couldn't do the role due to a schedule conflict, but as I pointed out, Kravitz only has the High Fidelity series in the works, so obviously she has time for The Batman.

Kravitz has yet to announce the exciting news, but we're sure she won't keep fans waiting too long before doing so. While many actresses have added to her legacy over the past few decades, the Selina Kyle that fans have come to love from the comics hasn't really been fully adapted to film yet. Michelle Pfeiffer also portrayed Catwoman in 1992's Batman Returns.
