OnePlus 8 Pro renders show punch-hole display and quad-cams

Even before the OnePlus 7T Pro was launched, we got our first look at the company's next flagship - the OnePlus 8.

Hemmerstoffer shared the renders with 91mobiles this time around - a site which has hosted several major Android phone leaks in the past. Like the OnePlus 7 Pro and 7T series, the OnePlus 8 Pro will have curved edges, the size of the display panel is tipped to be 6.65-inch, slightly bigger than the 6.5-inch panel on the OnePlus 8.

Renders of the OnePlus 8 Pro have allegedly leaked, showing a phone that's pared back its predecessor's aggressive design: no more pop-up selfie camera, no more bezel-less screen. Otherwise, the display of the OnePlus 8 Pro will look as handsome as the OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7T series, thanks to the 90Hz screen refresh rate.

Other specs include a hole for the mic at the top edge, USB Type-C port flanked by a redesigned speaker grille at the bottom. All in all, the design will be much the same as it was throughout 2019, so the software will probably be the star of the show. For just $599, you can pick up OnePlus' latest phone through both the company's own storefront and T-Mobile. A 90Hz refresh rate is a given since OnePlus already confirmed this would be the case for all its future smartphones.

As of now, we have no further information regarding the changes OnePlus might have included on the inside. The OnePlus 8 Pro, however, most definitely will, if the past is of any clear indication. An LED flash module completes the setup. That would be the OnePlus 8 family. According to the report, the OnePlus 8 Pro will have the following dimensions: 165.3 x 74.4 x 8.8 mm. The 7T Pro now misses out on the 5G spectrum. Expect the Oneplus 8 Pro to feature AR, 3D photography and portrait mode thanks to the advanced 3D sensor.
