Juventus, Bayern and PSG seal last-16 berths

Aaron Ramsey handed Juve an early lead after Guilherme spilled Cristiano Ronaldo's free-kick, before Aleksey Miranchuk equalised.

There is a chance that the goal wouldn't have gone down as Ronaldo's.

Sarri's decision was much to Ronaldo's apparent displeasure with the scoreline balanced at 1-1.

The Brazil-born goalkeeper was nearly caught out after another Ronaldo free kick bounced awkwardly in front of him early in the second half but then made another brilliant save to turn away the Portuguese forward's powerful drive.

Guilherme denied Ronaldo again nine minutes later sending the Portugal attacker's powerful shot over the bar with an impressive save. Now if he can just stay fit. But in the end, it was Dogolus Costa who netted a goal in the additional time provided and led the team to a 2-1 victory. Amidst all of this, Ronaldo was about to be stripped away from the credits for the goal, as Aaron Ramsey was appeared to make the contact with the ball while it was passing inside. - Ramsey's goal was Juventus' 300th in the Champions League - the fifth club to reach this total after Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Manchester United.

The result means Juventus have qualified for the knockout stages of the competition. - Costa has scored his first goal for Juventus in Champions League, his last was in March 2017 for Bayern Munich against Arsenal.

It is the first time the Portugal worldwide has failed to complete 90 minutes in a Champions League game since February 2016, and he did not take it well.

Juventus' Douglas Costa (3rd right) scores past Lokomotiv's goalkeeper Guilherme during their Champions League Group D match in Moscow on Wednesday. But in the Champions League you can not achieve results without a good game.

Three clubs have already booked their place in the last 16 of this year's UEFA Champions League following the conclusion of Match Day 4 fixtures on Thursday night.
