With the explosiveness behind Lamar Jackson taking on one of the league's most unsafe defenses in the 49ers, it's safe to assume this intense battle will be decided on one of the final drives towards the end of the fourth quarter.

Meanwhile, the Niners have seen second-round pick Deebo Samuel become an integral part of San Francisco's passing attack. Baltimore has fumbled 12 times but has only lost four, which is the fewest among the 26 teams who have fumbled 10 or more times. A whopping 15 plays later, the 49ers tied the game at 17 points, on a 32-yard Robbie Gould field goal.

If you were asked to pinpoint the leading rusher in a matchup between the 49ers and Baltimore Ravens, Raheem Mostert wouldn't be anyone's first choice.

Though it might be premature to make that kind of assessment, no one would be surprised if these two first-place teams meet again in February.

"We're definitely the type of team that's prepared to play this team and definitely one that's going to give them a run for their money", Ravens defensive tackle said.

A 33-yard touchdown pass from Garoppolo to Deebo Samuel concluded San Francisco's first drive and made the 49ers the first team to score in the first quarter against Baltimore since the Bengals on October 13.

When they got it again after a 49ers punt, Baltimore took the lead.

And he could well turn out to be right about the Ravens, who are playing as well as any team in the league.

Earl Thomas is confident the AFC will have a new representative in Super Bowl LIV. After a 37-8 victory at home against Green Bay, they head on the road to face Baltimore and New Orleans. "I don't mind too much their quarterback (Lamar Jackson) slowing down, though". He is questionable with an ankle injury and, if the former Notre Dame standout is unavailable, then there will be more emphasis on Brown to perform against the stingiest pass defense in the NFL. On the final drive, Jackson completed all three of his passes for 27 yards to record his third game-winning drive in the fourth quarter or overtime.

Up next, the Ravens travel to the 9-3 Buffalo Bills, while the 49ers visit the 10-2 Saints.
