Sebastien Haller Plays - West Ham Team vs Wolves Confirmed

West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini insisted the speculation he was on the verge of being sacked was no distraction after a dream debut for an emotional David Martin inspired Saturday's shock 1-0 win at Chelsea.

"It was a risk with Martin because he had never played before in the Premier League but he did very well".

"There is pressure playing for a massive club and you've got stuff to prove, but I think coming through with a lot of similar faces who you have known growing up, it does help a lot".

Having kept an impressive clean sheet Martin was reduced to tears at full-time as he embraced his father and West Ham legend Alvin Martin with a warm hug in the press box.

Aaron Cresswell's neat finish sealed West Ham's win, leaving a frustrated Chelsea boss Frank Lampard to challenge his side to produce a quick reaction in defeat.

"There is no doubt it's a tough game, away or at home, they have the same players, they don't have many injured players but - as with any other game - we need to be aggressive and have concentration".

Arsenal parted ways with Unai Emery earlier on Friday and Pellegrini is also under scrutiny with West Ham 17th in the standings after going winless in seven matches, which includes five defeats.

Before yesterday's games, Chelsea stayed fourth in the table on 26 points, 14 behind leaders Liverpool, who beat Brighton 2-1, and six above fifth-place Tottenham, who defeated Bournemouth 3-2. We thoroughly deserved to win. But at the same time I had to think about the squad and we had a taxing game where we had to give everything physically.

Chelsea were without top scorer Tammy Abraham for a meeting with the Hammers, after seeing him pick up a knock in a Champions League meeting with Valencia, but his absence is considered to be no excuse for a dip in collective standards.

If the West Ham boss wants to shake things up then he has a bench full of options, including Nathan Holland and Albian Ajeti. "But we can not change all of our style and study on believing that all what you're doing is wrong". "No game is given to you". We would not go through the season with only 10 or 11 players. We came up below par and that's something I've not had to say much this season.

"He needs to get outside and move a little bit outside over the next two days".

Wolves have been the master of the draw so far this season, picking up eight draws so far - the most of any team. "The most hard thing was not to be anxious about the job or the future, it was to keep the players keeping the style".
