If you did want to go on to purchase the Expansion Pass, it retails for £26.99 / $29.99, and will get you two distinct expansions: The Isle of Armour, due in June, and The Crown Tundra, due sometime in the Autumn.

The former is a bright and sunny location with a training dojo.

[Update 01/09/2020]: It has been confirmed Pokemon Home is a paid service, though a price has not been specified.

The Pokemon Direct opened up with a surprise by announcing a new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game coming to the Switch called Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX. Obviously, the graphics will also get a big update for this Switch release, with The Pokemon Company drawing specific attention to the game's "picture-book art style". The requests let players explore the demo's two dungeons and help the stranded Pokemon.

Pokemon Home is said to connect to a variety of previous Pokemon titles and store your recorded Pokemon in one place. If you're playing with them online, then you'll all need an active Nintendo Online Membership subscription, too.

The last bit of news that was shared during the Nintendo Direct was that Pokemon Home will launch sometime next month. The catch is that you can only transfer Pokemon that are in the Galar region Pokedex.

Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield are available now on the Nintendo Switch. In this guide, we'll not only teach you how to get Galarian Slowpoke but also how to snag yourself the rare Pokemon Sword and Shield Shiny Galarian Slowpoke variant.

First, make sure you have the update, otherwise none of this will work as expected. Isle of Armor will feature an item that evolves him into Galarian Slowbro, while The Crown Tundra will have an item that will evolve him into Galarian Slowking.
